Illuminated Journaling Bible Review

The Holy Bible. One of the oldest books still in existence. It sells over 100 million copies each year. It is made up of 66 books and is about 611,000 words long. It was written over a period of some 1,500 years and written by at least 40 different authors (I say at least because there are still some fascinating debates about how many authors there were).

I have never read the whole Bible. And truthfully, until this year I had read only a few books of the Bible. According to my Bible study app, I am 15% percent of the way through, and I can easily say I will never stop reading God's Word. Spending time in God's Word has breathed so much life into my dry bones. It has given water to my thirsty soul. It has shown me exactly who my Father is and what He wants for His people.

Since I hadn't immersed myself in the Bible until this year, I've never had my own Bible. I've acquired a few from various churches, but mostly relied on a Bible app when I wanted to quickly look something up. Then I found The Daily Grace Co. on Instagram. They are a company full of resources to encourage and equip women to know and love God's Word and cultivate an intention walk with God. With over 173k followers, they have a podcast, a blog, a shop, and they even have their own app!

While browsing their shop I stumbled up their ESV Illuminated Journaling Bible, and needless to say, I'm in love. It's thick cream-colored pages are filled with over 450 various illustrations and wide margins for notes. Its illustrations were done by Dana Tanamachi, whose work has been featured Google, The Wall Street Journal, and Target! I am so thankful for the Word of God, how it has been moving in my life this year, and for having my own Bible that inspires me and opens doors to understanding God more deeply. If you are looking to dive into God's Word for the first time, or the hundredth time, this Bible is definitely worth owning! You can visit them on Instagram at The Daily Grace Co. or simply visit www.thedailygraceco.com.
